The week starts off with cool weather and stormy showers in the north and east of the Iberian Peninsula, but as the days go by, temperatures will rise and showers will become more scattered and limited to the northern part of the country, according to Rubén del Campo, spokesperson for the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The temperatures will remain cool for this time of year but will gradually increase as the week progresses. By Thursday, temperatures are expected to reach or exceed 30°C to 32°C in the south and east of the Peninsula. This warm weather is expected to continue into the following week.

On Monday, cloud cover will increase in many areas of the country in the afternoon, leading to showers, especially in the north and east, with the possibility of strong showers in parts of the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, northern Valencia, and southern Aragon. Temperatures will remain cool for the season, with no significant changes expected. Tuesday will see a similar situation, with rain and showers in the Cantabrian region and stormy showers in the north and east of the Peninsula, as well as in parts of the Balearic Islands. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with slight increases expected in the Mediterranean region.

Wednesday will bring a decrease in unstable weather, although there will still be cloudy skies and showers in the northern third of the country, with the possibility of showers in other parts of the north, near the Iberian system and in the Balearic Islands. The rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures remaining cool for the season. By Thursday, the weather will stabilize in most of the Peninsula, with clearing skies and only some rain expected in northern Galicia, the Cantabrian region, the Pyrenees, and northeastern Catalonia. Temperatures will decrease in Mediterranean regions but will increase in the central and southern parts of the country.

By Friday, temperatures will rise in most of the country, surpassing 20°C in almost all areas. There will be storms in the Pyrenees and the Iberian system, but the rest of Spain will experience dry weather. The weekend will see high pressure prevailing and little rainfall, with isolated thunderstorms in mountainous areas in the north and east. Temperatures will continue to rise over the weekend, reaching the 30°C to 32°C range in central and southern parts of the Peninsula. The stable and warm weather may continue into the following week.

In the Canary Islands, typical trade winds are expected, with moderate winds and some strong gusts in exposed areas. There will be light rain in the northern mountainous areas, with stable temperatures ranging from 18°C to 20°C for minimums and 22°C to 25°C for maximums along the coast. Overall, the week will begin with cool and stormy weather in some areas, but will gradually transition to warmer and drier conditions as the days progress.
