The village headman of Çıraklar, Hasan Duyku, saw flames rising from the engine part of his truck when he started it.
Following the report, a forest fire extinguishing vehicle from the Safranbolu Forestry Directorate and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.
As a result of the teams’ efforts, the fire was extinguished, but the truck was rendered unusable in the process.
