Families who want to reunite with their children abducted by the terrorist organization PKK have been continuing their sit-in protest in front of the HDP provincial building since September 3, 2019, on its 1889th day.
One of the mothers, Hatice Levent, who has been waiting in front of the former HDP provincial building with a photo of her daughter, Fadime, whom she has not seen for 10 years, said that she misses her daughter very much.
Expressing that her daughter was given a weapon in the hand that holds a pen, Levent said, “I will not leave here without taking my daughter. I will continue my fight until the end. I want my daughter.”
Levent called on her daughter to surrender to the security forces.
Father Nurettin Ödümlü also expressed that he continues the vigil for his son Yusuf with the hope of reuniting with him. Ödümlü said:
“I want my son back from the HDP. I haven’t heard from my son in 10 years. We are constantly here, in this tent, regardless of winter, rain, or snow. I will not leave here until my son comes. HDP should bring him back the same way they took him.”
Ödümlü stated that he wants his son to surrender to the security forces.
