Logitech has introduced the new Meet2 USB conference camera, designed for small meeting rooms and huddle areas where employees use their laptops for Zoom and Team meetings. The Meet2 is an upgraded version of Logitech’s popular MeetUp model and offers advanced features such as AI-driven RightSight 2 for dynamic views and RightSound 2 for improved voice equalization and noise suppression. This new camera aims to create more engaging and productive meetings without the need for manual controls.
The MeetUp 2 is designed to be flexible and can be used with a dedicated PC setup or with employees’ laptops connecting to a camera and screen. It features AI-enhanced features that automatically zoom in on speakers and balance voices for better audio clarity. The camera can accommodate up to six people in a small conference room and works with popular platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet. It also offers features like Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery and Microsoft’s Intelliframe for a more interactive meeting experience.
In addition to its advanced functionality, the MeetUp 2 prioritizes sustainability by incorporating recycled plastic into its design. Logitech has made efforts to reduce its environmental impact by using zero-carbon materials and renewable power. With 62% recycled plastic content in its parts, the MeetUp 2 has the highest percentage on the market today. By using recycled plastic, the design saves 15.5t of CO2 per 10,000 units, helping organizations lower their carbon footprint.
To encourage other companies to adopt sustainable practices, Logitech shares its knowledge on integrating recycled plastic into manufacturing processes. The MeetUp 2 is also packaged in paper sourced from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources. The conference camera is priced at $899 / £849 / €999 and is available globally through authorized distributors and the Logitech website.
The MeetUp 2 offers flexible deployment options in USB or Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) mode, with a single-cable connectivity option for BYOD using the Logitech Active USB Cable. It also includes AI-based features such as RightSight 2 for dynamic views and RightSound 2 for improved audio quality. With up to 4x zoom, a multi-mount design for maximum flexibility, manual privacy shutter, secure wire management, Ethernet Port, and Wi-Fi connectivity, the MeetUp 2 provides a comprehensive solution for small meeting rooms.
