The Lotería del Niño, which is celebrated on January 6th, marks the day of the kings with a draw that distributes more than 700 million euros in prizes. The second most relevant national lottery draw, after the Christmas Gordo draw, takes place in the Salón de Loterías y Apuestas del Estado starting at 12:00 pm. The Lotería del Niño draw, which takes place through a system of multiple drums, consists of 55 series of 100,000 tickets each and lasts for 30 minutes during which the main prizes are distributed. The draw can be followed live from 12:00 pm on the day of the draw on EL PAÍS, which will have special coverage to inform minute by minute of the prizes and all the anecdotes of the draw. In addition, like the Christmas lottery, it will also be fully broadcast on RTVE’s channel 1. The Lotería del Niño draw on the day of the Kings distributes a total of 770 million euros in prizes. The emission consists of 55 series of 100,000 tickets each, at a price of 200 euros per ticket, divided into tenths of 20 euros. Among the main prizes, the first prize stands out, which will receive 2,000,000 euros per series (200,000 per tenth), the second prize awarded with 750,000 per series (75,000 per tenth), and the third prize with 250,000 per series (25,000 per tenth played). In addition, the Lotería del Niño draw also has two fourth and eight fifth prizes. Unlike the Christmas lottery, the Lotería del Niño also distributes prizes for extractions and approximations. Two extractions of 4 digits distribute 20 prizes of 3,500 euros per series (350 per tenth ending in those four digits), 14 extractions of 3 digits with prizes of 100 euros per tenth, and five with 2 digits that distribute prizes of 40 euros per tenth. As for the approximations, the numbers before and after the first prize are awarded 12,000 euros per series, and the numbers before and after the second prize are awarded 6,100 euros, in addition to other prizes for numbers that coincide with the first three digits of the main prizes, the last two digits, and the refunds.

The Lotería del Niño 2024 distributed its prizes throughout the Spanish geography, with the number 94974, awarded with the first prize, being sold in administration offices in Corbera de Llobregat (Barcelona), Zaragoza, Las Palmas, San Lorenzo de El Escorial ( Madrid) or Alcoy (Alicante), among others. The Lotería del Niño tickets can be purchased both physically at administrative offices or through the official website of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado. Physical purchases can be made until the day before, January 5th, considering that it is a Sunday and may be that some points of sale are not operational. Regarding online purchases, tickets can be purchased until 10:00 am on the same day, January 6th, two hours before the start of the draw.

Those lucky enough to have a winning ticket from the Lotería del Niño draw can collect the prize amount starting from January 7th and have exactly three months to claim their prizes. After this period, the prize will expire and the collection cannot be made unless it is claimed in court. Tickets with prizes below 2,000 euros can be collected at any Loterías y Apuestas del Estado administrative office, but prizes above this amount must be claimed at financial institutions authorized by SELAE.
