Wild Spring Dunes, located in East Texas, is set to become the latest addition to Dream Golf’s portfolio of destination golf resorts. The 2,400-acre site was acquired by Michael and Chris Keiser, sons of Bandon Dunes developer Mike Keiser. Plans are in place for two 18-hole courses, one designed by Tom Doak and the other by the team of Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, as well as a short course, practice center, clubhouse, and guest cabins.

The Wild Spring Dunes site boasts four distinct ecosystems including a forested area with towering pines, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and ravines carved by spring-fed creeks. Described as having hints of top golf destinations like Pine Valley, Pinehurst, and Shoreacres, the property offers a diverse and changing landscape ideal for golf enthusiasts. Michael Keiser expressed his surprise at finding such a unique property in Texas, praising its natural beauty and potential for exceptional golf holes.

Similar to other properties owned by the Keiser family, Wild Spring Dunes will be a public resort offering world-class golf and guest accommodations. The resort will also include a homesite component away from the courses and a foundership program allowing members to enjoy exclusive benefits such as preview play, preferred real estate selection, and access to special events and tournaments. The foundership program requires a refundable deposit of $65,000 and is designed to enhance the overall experience for guests and members.

The closest airport to Wild Spring Dunes is Shreveport Regional, located just over 70 miles away, making it easily accessible for visitors from nearby states such as Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The property’s central location allows for a convenient day’s drive from various metro areas, providing accessibility to a wide range of potential guests. Plans for expansion include the addition of two courses at Wild Spring Dunes, with the potential for further course development in the future.

Dream Golf’s vision for the Rodeo Dunes property near Denver International Airport includes up to six courses on over 2,000 acres of land. The Keiser family’s track record of successful golf resorts, such as Bandon Dunes and Sand Valley, suggests a similar trajectory for Wild Spring Dunes, which may eventually feature multiple courses to complement the existing offerings. The development of Wild Spring Dunes and Rodeo Dunes signifies a continued commitment to providing exceptional golf experiences in unique and visually stunning locations. With renowned designers and a focus on natural landscapes, these properties promise to attract golf enthusiasts from around the country.
