In Ataşehir, Leyla Kezer took her ‘Poddle’ breed dog Toffy out for a walk. Shortly after leaving the complex, a Kangal breed dog belonging to a food company attacked Kezer’s dog. The Kangal repeatedly bit the Poddle until Kezer’s attempts to save her dog proved unsuccessful.
The owner of the Kangal eventually noticed the situation and came with a leash to remove the dog from the scene. Unfortunately, the attacked dog did not survive the ordeal. Leyla Kezer, on the other hand, fell ill and was rushed to the hospital. It was later revealed that Kezer had suffered a heart attack.
After being treated in the hospital for a period of time, Leyla Kezer was discharged on September 17th. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible pet ownership and the potential dangers of interactions between different dog breeds. The attack has sparked discussions about the need for stricter regulations and measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
Authorities are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances leading up to the attack and whether any negligence was involved. Both owners of the dogs involved are expected to cooperate with the investigation. The tragic event has also prompted calls for increased awareness and education on dog behavior and responsible pet ownership within communities.
It is hoped that by raising awareness about the importance of proper training and socialization of pets, similar incidents can be prevented and both humans and animals can coexist safely within their communities. The safety and well-being of all animals, as well as their owners, should be a top priority in order to avoid such tragic events in the future.
