Amazon’s October Prime Day event is approaching, with the Big Deal Days event scheduled for Oct. 8 through Oct. 9. If you have recently made a purchase on Amazon and want to return it, there are several options available to you. One of the simplest ways to return your unwanted items is by visiting a drop-off location. Even if you no longer have the original packaging, you can still bring your items to be packed and shipped for free at these locations. Additionally, if you prefer the convenience of having your package picked up, you can arrange for that as well.

Kohl’s and Staples stores are also convenient options for returning Amazon purchases. When initiating the return process on Amazon, you can choose either Kohl’s Dropoff or Staples Dropoff as your preferred method. Amazon will provide you with a QR code to bring to the store, where an employee will pack, label, and ship your items for free. Whole Foods Market is another drop-off location for Amazon returns, where you can simply bring your items and a provided QR code to the customer service desk or return kiosk for processing and shipping.

If you prefer to use The UPS Store for your return, selecting The UPS Store Dropoff on Amazon’s return process will allow you to bring your items for packing, labeling, and shipping at no additional cost. Alternatively, you can opt for UPS pickup if your items qualify. UPS will provide the return label, and your package will be picked up on the next business day, requiring an adult to be present during pickup. Another option for returning Amazon purchases is visiting a physical Amazon store, such as Amazon Fresh or Amazon Go. Simply select Amazon Store Dropoff on Amazon, bring the items in their original packaging, and show the provided QR code at the store.

For those in select areas, DoorDash is testing a feature that allows you to request a Dasher to pick up and drop off your pre-packaged items at a UPS, FedEx, or USPS location. The packages must be under 30 pounds each and valued at less than $500. Keep in mind that this feature is currently being tested and may not be widely available yet. Overall, there are various convenient methods for returning Amazon purchases, whether it’s dropping off at a designated location, utilizing UPS services, visiting an Amazon store, or potentially using the DoorDash feature in the future.
