UFC 300 will feature a co-main event title fight between reigning UFC women’s strawweight champion Zhang Weili and the No. 1 ranked Yan Xiaonan. This is the first all-China title fight in UFC history, with Alex Pereira and Jamahal Hill set to face off in the main event following the women’s title fight. The event is scheduled to take place on April 13 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with the main card streaming on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

Zhang Weili has had a successful career in the UFC, with a record of 24-3. She made her debut in August 2018 and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually claiming the UFC strawweight title with a knockout win over Jessica Andrade in August 2019. Weili’s first title defense was a split decision win over Joanna Jedrzejczyk, but she lost the belt to Rose Namajunas in April 2020. After a failed attempt to regain the title, Weili defeated Carla Esparza at UFC 281 to reclaim the championship.

Yan Xiaonan, with a 15-3 MMA record, entered the UFC in 2017 and has been steadily climbing the ranks since. She has faced tough opponents like Angela Hill, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, and Claudia Gadelha, picking up decision wins along the way. Xiaonan suffered setbacks in 2021 and 2022 with a knockout loss to Carla Esparza and a split decision loss to Marina Rodriguez. However, she bounced back with wins over Mackenzie Dern and Jessica Andrade, showing her resilience in the strawweight division.

Zhang Weili is currently the favorite heading into the UFC 300 co-main event, with betting odds starting at -325 and climbing to -500. Yan Xiaonan is the underdog, initially coming in at +260 and now standing at +361. Weili has impressive striking stats, averaging 5.94 significant strikes per minute with a takedown accuracy of 42 percent. Xiaonan, on the other hand, has a striking accuracy of 44 percent and a takedown defense of 70 percent, making for an exciting matchup between the two fighters.

Other fights on the UFC 300 card include the BMF title fight between Justin Gaethje and Max Holloway, as well as matchups like Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan, Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage, Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic, Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling, Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison, and Bobby Green vs. Jim Miller. With a stacked card and high-stakes fights, UFC 300 promises to be an action-packed event for MMA fans.

The event will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 13, with the main card streaming on ESPN+ pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN and early prelims on ESPN+.
