The funeral of Günhan, who was receiving cancer treatment at a private hospital in the district and passed away at the age of 82, was held at the Gülsevim Rüştü Kaynak Mosque in Bitez neighborhood. After the prayer ceremony, Günhan’s body was buried in Bitez Cemetery. The ceremony was attended by Bodrum Governor Mustafa Çit, the artist’s family, relatives, friends, some artists, and citizens.
