A 17-year-old teenager, identified as K.H., was driving a motorcycle without a license plate when he refused to stop in response to a police order on Fahrettin Günaltay Street in Emek neighborhood.
During the chase, the motorcycle driven by K.H. collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by C.C. coming from the opposite direction. As a result of the collision, the motorcycle, which was thrown off course, also hit the motorcycle driven by police officer M.İ. from the pursuing dolphin team.
In the accident, the driver of the unlicensed motorcycle, K.H., the driver of the light commercial vehicle, C.C., and the police officers from the motorcycle dolphin team, M.İ. and F.Ü., were injured.
Upon receiving a report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
It was learned that the injured individuals, who were taken to hospitals in the city by the teams, were in good health.
An investigation is ongoing regarding the incident.
