According to an announcement in the Official Gazette, applications for military officer candidate positions will be accepted from June 3 to June 14 through the e-Government system. Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent and be under the age of 27 as of January 1, 2024.

Individuals who have served or are currently serving as conscripted privates, soldiers, or contracted privates in the military can also apply for the announcement. Contracted privates and soldiers who have not yet turned 29 can also apply for the announcement.

Candidates who have completed their military service must have been discharged for no more than 5 years to be eligible to apply. Individuals who have previously been employed as officers, non-commissioned officers, gendarme specialists, and specialist privates in the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command, or Coast Guard Command, as well as those whose military student status has been terminated, are not eligible to apply.
