Sony had a State of Play presentation jam-packed with trailers for games we hadn’t seen before, including a dramatic reveal of the Ghost of Tsushima sequel Ghost of Yotei. The trailers included gameplay for titles like Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Monster Hunter Wilds, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and Hitman: World of Assassination. Updates to current games were also featured, such as new content for Astro Bot, the last DLC for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, and the final DLC for Alan Wake II. A sizzle reel showcased games receiving upgraded visuals from the upcoming PS5 Pro. Additionally, new chrome console and DualSense controller covers for the PS5 were introduced.

Several game trailers were revealed during the Sony State of Play event. Astro Bot is receiving a free content pack with new speedrun levels and bots, while The Midnight Walk, Hell is Us, Metro Awakening, ArcheAge Chronicles, Palworld, Lunar Remastered Collection, TMNT Shredder’s Revenge DLC: Radical Reptiles, Sonic X Shadow Generations movie content, Fantasian Neo Dimension, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Alan Wake II: The Lake House DLC were also showcased. Hitman: World of Assassination, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, Fear The Spotlight, Towers of Aghasba, Fortnite, Dynasty Warriors Origins, Monster Hunter Wilds, Lego Horizon Adventures, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Stellar Blade DLC crossover with Nier: Automata, and Ghost of Yotei were among the titles featured in the event.

Astro Bot is set to receive new content this fall, while The Midnight Walk, Hell is Us, Metro Awakening, ArcheAge Chronicles, and Palworld are upcoming games in various genres. The Lunar Remastered Collection will allow fans to revisit classic JRPGs in the Lunar series. TMNT Shredder’s Revenge DLC: Radical Reptiles offers new characters and songs, while Sonic X Shadow Generations will have movie content released as a bonus. Fantasian Neo Dimension, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Alan Wake II: The Lake House DLC are also on the horizon. Hitman: World of Assassination, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, Fear The Spotlight, Towers of Aghasba, Fortnite, Dynasty Warriors Origins, and Monster Hunter Wilds are set to be released in the coming months.

Coming soon to the PS5, Lego Horizon Adventures, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Stellar Blade DLC with Nier: Automata collaboration, and Ghost of Yotei are highly anticipated titles. Lego Horizon Adventures, originally revealed during Summer Game Fest, is available for preorder with a full release in November. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered features upgraded graphics and motion capture, with owners of the original PS4 version able to upgrade for a fee. Stellar Blade DLC will include a crossover with Nier: Automata, as well as additional content like a photo-editing pack and soundtrack. Ghost of Yotei, the sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, follows a lady ronin in feudal Japan in 1603 and is expected to be released in 2025.
