The Istanbul Governorship announced that various roads will be closed to traffic in the Vatan Street area for the “Tour de France, L’etape By Tour de France International Cycling Race” and the “101st Anniversary of the 29 October Republic Day Celebrations”. The closures will be in effect during the practice session tomorrow and until the end of the event day program.
As a result of the cycling race, the following roads will be closed to traffic from 06:00 to 14:00 tomorrow: Küçüksu Street, Cuma Yolu Street, Körfez Street, Mehmet Ali Birand Street, and many others. Alternative routes have been recommended for citizens to use during this time.
For the race, the following roads will be closed from 08:00 until the end of the program: TEM Highway South Maslak Junction, TEM South Maslak Side Road, TEM South Etiler Entrance, and TEM North Kavacık Interchanges. Alternative routes have been designated for traffic flow during these closures.

In preparation for the Republic Day celebrations, certain roads will be closed to traffic in the Fatih Vatan Street area for the practice session tomorrow and on the Republic Day on the 29th of October until the end of the program. From 22:00 today until the end of tomorrow’s practice session, cars parked on Adnan Menderes Boulevard and its side streets will be removed. Citizens are advised to use Turgut Özal Boulevard (Millet Street) and Fevzipaşa Street as alternative routes.
The Istanbul Governorship has specified alternative routes for citizens to use during the closures, including Kandilli Iskele Street to the Observatory direction, Dereboyu Street to Yavuztürk Street direction, and others. The closure of certain roads for the events is aimed at ensuring the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the cycling race and Republic Day celebrations. Alternative routes have been carefully selected to minimize inconvenience for drivers and to facilitate the movement of traffic in the affected areas.
