In a neighborhood in Esentepe Mahallesi, several fast food businesses and restaurants in the area received food orders through a mobile application within close hours. However, when 25 motorbike couriers gathered in front of a house to deliver the orders, it was revealed that the customer named A.O. did not live at the address provided, and the orders were indeed fake.

Upon not finding anyone to open the door, A.O. was contacted by phone and stated that he had not placed any orders, and someone else had made the orders on his behalf. Shortly after, videos of the couriers and their motorcycles arriving on the street where the house was located were shared on social media.

The victim of the fake orders, döner salon owner Ahmet Göçtürk, expressed his desire for the perpetrators to be found and punished. He explained that due to payment methods being online or at the door, they typically do not receive payment before the delivery, adding that they already struggle to provide the service under difficult conditions. Göçtürk emphasized that the person who played this joke on them probably doesn’t realize the extent of the damage caused and that it is not right to make fun of their hard work. He expressed hope that the perpetrator would receive the punishment they deserve.

Göçtürk also mentioned that they gave the returned food to stray animals brought back by the couriers. Pide salon owner Erdal Girgin also expressed his distress, stating that they were aware of the incident when they received a call from the courier. It was also revealed that A.O., whose address and phone information was obtained from a virtual game, had gone to the Karacabey Police Department with his father to file a complaint about the false reports and orders made in his name.
