The Security Department of the Provincial Police Department conducted operations between March 25 and 31, during which they seized 26 unlicensed pistols, 3 unlicensed shotguns, 2 blank pistols, 893 narcotic pills, 590 grams of drugs, and 4 stolen motorcycles.
A total of 52 individuals were detained during the operations and were subsequently arrested by the judiciary after due process.
The police also processed 150 individuals for drug possession and use, and apprehended 333 individuals who were found to be in violation of military service duties.
The crackdown on illegal firearms and drugs is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to ensure public safety and combat organized crime in the region.
The successful operations led to a significant amount of illegal firearms and drugs being removed from the streets, as well as the apprehension of individuals involved in criminal activities.
The Provincial Police Department will continue to conduct such operations in order to maintain law and order in the region and protect the community from the dangers posed by illegal firearms and drugs.
