Sean “Diddy” Combs is currently under federal investigation in connection with allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal narcotics and firearms. Multiple interviews have been conducted with individuals in Manhattan, and search warrants have been executed at Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami. The investigation is being led by Homeland Security Investigations, with ongoing law enforcement actions taking place in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. Combs, 54, has not yet responded to the allegations.

The allegations against Combs surfaced following a lawsuit filed by his former romantic partner, Cassie, who accused him of physical and sexual abuse. The lawsuit was filed under the New York Adult Survivors Act, which allowed adult victims of sexual assault to come forward with civil claims. Cassie settled with Combs in November under undisclosed terms. Since then, three other women have filed lawsuits alleging sexual assault by Combs, two of whom claimed they were teenagers at the time of the assaults. Combs has vehemently denied all allegations, calling them “sickening.”

In addition to the sexual assault allegations, a former employee of Combs, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, filed a lawsuit in February accusing Combs of sexual harassment, drugging, and threats. Jones claimed to have video and audio evidence of Combs and his staff engaging in illegal activities. Combs’ attorney, Shawn Holley, denied these allegations, stating that they have evidence proving the claims to be false. Combs, who has faced legal issues in the past, including a guilty plea for assaulting a record executive in 1999, has rarely faced criminal charges.

The allegations against Combs have led to public scrutiny and legal repercussions. He stepped down as chairman of media network Revolt, and a planned reality series about his family was pulled from Hulu. Despite the mounting legal challenges, Combs continues to maintain his innocence and deny all allegations made against him. The investigation into Combs’ actions is ongoing, with federal agents and law enforcement officials working to gather more information and evidence related to the allegations. The situation remains fluid, and further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
