In a recent episode of her podcast “Scheananigans,” Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay discussed how Jax Taylor has expressed that he does not want her or Lala Kent to join his new Bravo show, The Valley. Scheana believes that Jax is personally against them being part of the show because he is afraid they will call him out for things they know. Despite Jax’s opposition, Scheana revealed that he had initially tried to get her and Brock Davies on the show before changing his mind. She still praised The Valley for its successful ratings and acknowledged that Jax may be correct in saying they are not needed, but she feels that some people on the show may actually want them there.

The Valley, which premiered earlier this year, features original Vanderpump Rules cast member Kristen Doute, along with other familiar faces such as Michelle, Jesse Lally, and Danny Booko. Though The Valley has been well-received and renewed for another season, Vanderpump Rules is currently on hiatus and will return to film season 12 in the future. Rumors began circulating that Scheana and Lala were considering using the VPR hiatus as an opportunity to appear more on The Valley. However, Jax made it clear that he does not believe anyone from Vanderpump Rules should be brought over to The Valley and emphasized that it is a separate show.

Jax expressed his thoughts on not bringing Vanderpump Rules cast members to The Valley during an episode of the “When Reality Hits” podcast with Brittany. He stated that he wants The Valley to be a separate entity from VPR and feels it would be unfair to the current cast members who have worked hard to bring in new people from another show. Despite this, he did leave the door slightly open by mentioning that things could change, especially during parties where they may invite VPR stars. The third part of the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion will be airing on Bravo, while The Valley continues to air on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET with new episodes available to stream on Peacock the following day.
