Rosario Dawson recently unveiled multiple new tattoos on her thighs and legs while enjoying a beach getaway with her boyfriend Adama Sanneh in Sardinia. Some of the new body art included black lines across her hip and rear resembling tiger stripes, floral designs on her knees, and a geometric design on her upper thigh. Last month, on her 45th birthday, Rosario filmed herself getting tattooed and admitted it was not for the faint-hearted. The tattoos were done by tattoo artist Janice Danger at Grit N Glory in New York City.
The Sin City star, known for her role as Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, had previously stated in 2014 that she did not have any tattoos. However, she revealed on The Late Late Show With James Corden that she had gotten a black star on her knee at a South by Southwest film festival afterparty in 2022. During her beach excursion in Sardinia, Rosario proudly showed off her new tattoos in an animal-print one-piece swimsuit as she enjoyed a romantic trip with Sanneh. The couple displayed affection as they walked along the shore and embraced in the water, with both of them seemingly content and happy.
Before heading into the water, Rosario and Sanneh set up beach chairs and enjoyed the picturesque surroundings. The pair appeared inseparable as they held hands and Sanneh showed off his sun tattoo while going shirtless in black board shorts. In December, Rosario announced that she is set to become a grandmother in 2024 as her daughter Isabella, whom she adopted from foster care at age 11, is expecting. Rosario expressed her excitement and her hope that the future baby will refer to her as ‘Glamma,’ a term she finds endearing yet glamorous.
