Summarize this content to 2000 words in 6 paragraphs Few things can come between me and the opportunity to go vintage shopping in Paris—not a sweltering forecast, and not a packed schedule either. So, even with temperatures soaring and a calendar full of events and deadlines while I was on assignment covering the 2024 Olympics, I was very much available to take Today show hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb to my favorite vintage boutiques in the City of Light.Courtesy of NBCOur first stop was luxury boutique Valois Vintage Paris, a treasure trove of Hermès Birkins, rare Louis Vuitton pieces, and all things Chanel—from ’90s-era flap bags and tweed jackets, to double-C earrings and multi-strand chain belts. The family-owned shop is where you go to splurge, invest, treat yourself! We spied an Hermès Kelly 32 in electric blue epsom leather (€25,000) and a vintage Versace belt with rhinestone embellishments (€790). There are some great finds for far less, though—many within the extensive jewelry collection. As I shared with Guthrie and Kotb, the first time I visited Valois, in 2018, I left with a pair of Chanel earrings for €150. On this trip, I spotted a Fendi cuff and choker set for €280.
