Summarize this content to 2000 words in 6 paragraphs We had a nice day yesterday thanks to Jackson Merrill, who came through for us at a juicy price. As for today, we have mostly day games, so let’s get right into our favorite MLB home run predictions for Sunday, August 11.Matt Wallner Home Run (+400) FanDuelCleveland Guardians vs. Minnesota Twins, 2:10 p.m. ETFor this one we are admittedly not targeting a mashable pitcher, as the Guardians’ Tanner Bibee is not horrible by any means. With that said, he has an issue against left-handed hitters, who hit his fastball hard.Bibee throws a 4-seam fastball roughly 45% of the time, and he gets hit hard by lefties off his fastball. He has allowed six total home runs over the past two months, half of which have specifically come off of lefties from his fastball.Overall, batters are hitting .294 with a .503 slugging, .841 OPS and .209 ISO rate against his 4-seamer, which is pretty rough. Wallner, meanwhile, crushes fastballs better than any other bitch. The Twins right fielder’s ISO rate on the entire season against 4-seam fastballs is .414, which is his best pitch to hit for power by far when taking into account the sample size. He also hits righties hard, with an ISO rate of .390 against RHP and only .182 against LHP.Lastly, Wallner crushes fastballs off righties particularly well, with a barrel rate of 30.77%, HardHit rate of 85.71% and an ISO rate of .462 from 4-seam fastballs off RHP over the past month. He stays hot and goes yard today.Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Home Run (+450) Bet365Oakland Athletics vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 1:37 p.m. ETWhile Guerrero Jr. is not quite as hot over the past week as he was about a month ago, he has still been hitting very well recently. He is tied with Corey Seager for the most barrels in the MLB over the past 14 days, and he has the fourth-most in MLB over the past 30 days. So, he has still been crushing the ball, with five home runs over the past 14 days, and he should be able to continue to crush the ball today. He is going up against lefty JP Sears of the Athletics, and Guerrero Jr. absolutely crushes lefties. On the entire season, Guerrero Jr.’s ISO rate against LHP is .316, up from .208 against RHP, and he has been even better recently, with a barrel rate of 18% and an absurd ISO rate of .636 against LHP over the past month.Sears had a good stretch where he went five straight starts without giving up a home run, but since then, he has been gettable, with a HR/9 of 1.69. Sears also struggles much more against right-handed hitters such as Guerrero Jr.Anthony Santander Home Run (+450) BetMGMBaltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays, 1:40 p.m. ETSantander has been very reliable for us, and he once again should be able to mash today. Since June 1, Santander has hit the most home runs in the entire MLB, with 25 since then, and he is in first by a decent amount. Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani have each hit 21, with Ketel Marte hitting 20. Nobody else has hit more than 22, though. What makes Santander a great bet is that he is a switch-hitter, and he is almost equally as good whether he is facing a righty or a lefty. His ISO rate against LHP is .282, and his ISO rate against RHP is .288. His OPS is identical at .838 against both RHP and LHP. As for today, he is going up against Jeffrey Springs of the Rays, who has gotten hit up in a small sample size.Springs has only pitched 8.2 innings this year, but his HR/9 in those innings is 3.12, which would be easily the worst HR/9 in MLB if extrapolated over a full season. Unsurprisingly, Santander crushes the pitch-mix of Springs, who predominantly throws changeups (47% of the time) and 4-seam fastballs (36%).Over the past month against left-handed pitching, Santander has a barrel rate of 20%, HardHit rate of 87.50% and ISO rate of .600 specifically against those two pitches. Here’s hoping he stays hot today.Newsweek may earn an affiliate commission if you sign up through the links in this article. See the sportsbook operator’s terms and conditions for important details.
