Don’t judge a book by its cover, even if it’s wrapped in Red Bull.

A TikTok account run by @micromagic6 examines foods under a microscope, such as raw meats, fruits and popular beverages.

The account is known to unveil disturbing up-close images of foods and drinks people consume daily, so when Red Bull appeared as the next microscope victim, many people prepared for the worst.

In a one-minute clip posted on May 21 and with over 3.6 million views, the experimentation poured out the original Red Bull on the microscope slide.

The magnified view of Red Bull is shown with an augmentation of 40X, 100X and 400X.

Up close, the energy drink appears as a transparent liquid with different-sized fizzy bubbles compacted together, with no obscurity in sight.

As the magnification increases, the bubbles become larger and space out from each other.

“Would you still drink Red Bull after seeing it magnified 400 times under a microscope?” the video caption read.

The popular energy drink is made of carbonated water, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium carbonate, caffeine, taurine, B vitamins, glucuronolactone, and sugar, according to Red Bull’s site, which explains the fizzy and clear liquid reaction.

Surprisingly, The results differed from most videos the content creator publishes, which typically scare people away from popular food dishes. Many TikTok users were left astonished by the microscope results.

“Holy water under microscope,” commented a watcher.

“Looks so clean,” agreed a spectator. “It’s cleaner than water.”

“So I am not getting wings from that?” wrote a jokester.

“I was expecting to see wings, but it’s fine,” laughed another.
