Pickles are kind of a big dill.
November 14 is National Pickle Day, and one pickle brand is making sure the beloved briny snack is integrated into every nook and cranny of our lives.
In honor of the foodie holiday, Grillo’s Pickles has teamed up with Boka to launch a limited-edition Cucumber Dill Pickle flavored toothpaste.
That’s right, pickle toothpaste.
For pickle lovers who want that “briny, sweet and tangy taste” first thing in the morning and last thing before you go to sleep, this toothpaste is sure to satisfy your cravings.
Don’t knock it ’til you try it — Grillo’s VP of Branding Eddie Andre told FastCompany that “it actually tastes good.”
“I thought it would be a nice stocking stuffer, a gag gift, you know—but it actually tastes good. It’s cucumber dill. It’s actually quite refreshing,” Andre admitted.
“Being self-aware that no one asked for this, but we’re doing it, is kind of the way to go about it,” he added.
Like all Boka toothpastes, this cucumber dill-flavored toothpaste swaps fluoride for the brand’s key ingredient of nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha), a fluoride alternative.
The limited-edition flavor “excites the palate and awakens the senses.”
And after you brush your teeth in the morning, the cult-favorite refrigerated pickle brand wants to make sure you’re relishing in breakfast, too.
Grillo’s has also teamed up with PopUp Bagels for a schmear that’s sure to be a delight to pickle and bagel lovers alike.
The PopUp Bagels x Grillo’s Pickle de Gallo Schmear combines the crisp texture and flavor of Grillo’s Pickles with the smooth creaminess of PopUp Bagels’ schmear.
And to top it all off, the new V8 Grillo’s Pickles Dill Pickle Bloody Mary Mix will end your National Pickle Day on a high note.
The dill pickle Bloody Mary mix comes in a 6-pack of 8-ounce cans, proportioned for cocktail mixing purposes.
