Denise Van Outen has been forced to cancel her Cabaret All Stars show just hours before taking to the stage in London on Thursday evening. The actress, 50, announced the news on Instagram and said she was left ‘truly gutted’ after the Eight Embankment suffered a gas leak. Denise apologised to fans, who would receive a refund, and explained how organisers had tried and failed to find an alternative venue. Alongside a snap of herself on stage she wrote: ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances we have been advised to cancel this evenings show due to health & safety (gas leak)”We are truly sorry and gutted to let down our audience. We will be fully refunding your pre payments. Please allow 1-2 weeks for refunds. So sorry!’.’We tried today to find a back up venue but I hope you can appreciate it’s been very difficult to do so during the busiest week for events in London’.
