Applebee’s is making sure their customers are eatin’ good.

The restaurant chain has officially placed its hat in the ring for both the chicken sandwich and meal deal wars.

In celebration of the rollout of their new Big Cluckin’ hand-breaded chicken sandwich, Applebee’s has unveiled a $10 value meal.

The Applebee’s bargain comes on the heels of an influx of restaurant chains launching low-priced meal deals to keep customers coming amid inflation.

The Really Big Meal Deal gives customers the choice of either a Big Cluckin’ or a Big Classic Bacon Cheeseburger as an entrée with classic fries and a fountain beverage.

For just $9.99, customers can snag the Really Big Meal Deal while dining in, to go or for delivery.

“Big in size, flavor and value, our new Really Big Meal Deal can’t be beat,” Chief Marketing Officer Joel Yashinsky said in a statement about the special.

The new Big Cluckin’ features hand-breaded chicken breast, shredded lettuce, pickles, tomato and mayonnaise — and Applebee’s is so confident about the new menu item that it is offering a deal that challenges other chicken sandwiches.

Through Nov. 19, Applebee’s is serving up a surprising “Big Guarantee,” which allows customers to bring a chicken sandwich from a national competitor to a participating Applebee’s location.

The customer can then order the Big Cluckin’ Chicken Sandwich and alert the server to judge the chicken sandwich showdown, right at their table.

If the competitor’s product happens to be bigger, Applebee’s will add an extra chicken breast to its ‘wich — at no additional cost.
