In recent weeks, Trump has shifted his strategy to target undecided voters in the suburbs of Philadelphia, with the assistance of his running mate, Senator JD Vance. Harris, on the other hand, has prioritized visits to population hubs such as Philadelphia and its suburbs, as well as smaller towns. The strategy for both campaigns has been to campaign everywhere and not take any voters for granted.

Harris and her allies have focused on Philadelphia’s media market, outspending Trump and his allies on streaming, cable, digital, and radio ads. Trump’s campaign spent $52.5 million on advertising in Pennsylvania, with super PACs supporting him spending an additional $191.2 million in the battleground state. The top presidential candidates and their running mates have collectively visited Pennsylvania 76 times since January, with the majority of visits occurring since the beginning of August. Trump’s campaign has targeted blue-collar and union voters, while Harris has focused on population hubs and smaller towns.
