Marcee Gray, the mother of Colt Gray, who allegedly shot two students and two teachers dead at Apalachee High School in Georgia, has been accused of abusing her elderly mother by taping her to a chair, stealing her phone, and damaging her home. The incident took place in November when Marcee demanded her mother accompany her to confront her ex-husband, Colt’s father, and when she refused, Marcee reportedly restrained her mother to a chair and caused physical harm. Marcee has been indicted for exploitation and intimidation of an elderly person, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property, and theft, among other charges. She has a history of drug use and property damage according to police and court records.

Colt Gray shot 11 people at Apalachee High School, resulting in the death of two students and two teachers. He was able to bring a semiautomatic AR-15 style rifle with him to school by hiding it in his backpack. The victims were identified as Richard Aspinwall, Cristina Irimie, Mason Schermerhorn, and Christian Angulo.
