Prince William recently shared some sweet details about his family life and the bedtime routine of the youngest child, Prince Louis. During a garden party at Buckingham Palace, William greeted members of his and Kate’s patronages and received a book from author Rowan Aderyn, which he expressed excitement to read to Louis that night. William and Kate share three children, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

In celebration of Louis’ 6th birthday, the couple shared a new royal portrait of the young prince on Instagram. William has previously mentioned reading another children’s book, Julia Donaldson’s Room on the Broom, to his kids before bedtime. Louis has gained popularity for his candid reactions and funny faces at events, making him a fan favorite royal.

Kate made her last public appearance during a Christmas Day walk to a Sandringham church service before being hospitalized for planned abdominal surgery. Following speculation about her health, she revealed in March that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy after doctors found cancer present post-surgery. William and Kate have been managing the situation privately for the sake of their family.

Despite undergoing treatment, Kate has continued to work on her projects including the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, the Shaping Us Campaign, and the Business Taskforce. She is not expected to return to royal duties until she is cleared by her doctors. The couple has been focused on their family’s well-being during this challenging time and working together to manage the situation. Their dedication to their children and their projects remains a priority for both William and Kate.
