The 2022 NFL season has kicked off and sports betting enthusiasts are analyzing NFL teams’ over/under win totals. The Fox Sports gambling experts made their picks across the AFC and NFC leagues as fans get ready to place bets on win totals for each team.

Chris “The Bear” Fallica and Patrick Everson discussed the AFC North odds, primarily focusing on the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. Fallica raised concerns about the Ravens’ player departures and tough schedule, predicting they would fall short of their 10.5 game over/under win total. Everson, however, showed confidence in the Bengals, largely due to the potential of a healthy Joe Burrow, and sided with the over for their 10.5 game win total.

In the AFC South, Geoff Schwartz evaluated the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Tennessee Titans. He highlighted the great potential of the Texans’ C.J. Stroud and the Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence, picking the over for both teams’ totals (9.5 for Texans and 8.5 for Jaguars). Schwartz, however, was skeptical of the Titans under a new coaching staff, choosing the under for their 6.5 game win total.

Analysts showed mixed opinions on AFC East and West teams as they explored factors such as team health and coach abilities. Schwartz favored the Chiefs for the over on their 11.5 game win total, while JMAC predicted the Jets to clear their 9.5 game total if Aaron Rodgers stayed healthy. Schwartz and Hill, however, were both skeptical about the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins respectively, predicting under for both teams’ 10.5 game totals. In AFC West, JMAC and “The Bear” were both bearish on the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers, predicting unders for their 6.5 and 8.5 game totals.

In the NFC Leagues, Sammy P and Patrick Everson explored teams like the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers. While Sammy P was bearish on the Lions’ hype and sided with under their 10.5 game total, Patrick Everson had lack of trust in Chicago Bears’ potential to reach their ninth win, choosing the under for their 8.5 game total. Contrarily, Sammy P showed optimism for the Packers, opting for over their 9.5 game total.

In the NFC South and East, different factors such as QB changes and defensive abilities were analysed. Will Hill, skeptical of the changes made in Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints, predicted under for their respective totals (9.5 for Falcons and 7.5 for Saints). Sammy P, however, was bullish on the Eagles in the NFC East, predicting over their 10.5 game total. Analyses of the rest of the NFC teams such as Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks also leaned more towards unders due to various reasons including tough schedules and player injuries.

The analysis of the NFL teams’ pre-season win totals gives bettors insight on what to expect in the 2022 season. It will be an exciting season with unexpected outcomes bound to occur. However, anything can happen in the game of football, so these predictions should be used as a guide rather than a certainty.
