The Police in Spain are seeking help from the public to identify seven women who have died between 1999 and 2019 and remain unidentified. The cases have been named by the police based on details such as where their bodies were found, the color of their clothing, the presence of a suspicious companion, or a personality trait of the victim. Europol has launched a campaign called Identify Me, which includes 46 cases of unidentified deceased women in France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. This initiative aims to gather information and assistance from the public to solve these cases across Europe with the help of celebrities like actors, singers, and athletes.

One of the cases in Spain involves a woman found near a forest path in Bilbao in 2009. She was between 30 and 40 years old, had black short hair, and was wearing dark-colored clothing. Another case refers to a woman found by a boat in Santa Eulalia del Río, Ibiza, in 2019, who was described as introverted and believed to be involved in prostitution. There is also a case of a woman found in Madrid in 2007, suspected of being involved in drug trafficking, with connections to South America. These cases remain unresolved and the police are seeking help to identify these women and provide closure to their families.

Another case involves a woman found in a hotel room in Premià de Mar, Barcelona in 1999, with signs of violence and hands tied, accompanied by a man of similar description who may have ties to Geneva, Switzerland. Additionally, a woman found in Malgrat de Mar in 2003 with Bengali origins due to a tattoo on her hand, and a woman found in Viladecans, Barcelona in 2005 known as the woman in pink due to her clothing, are among those needing identification. Lastly, a woman found hanged in a shed in Girona in 2018, with no identity on record and believed to be of Northern European descent, remains a mystery that authorities are looking to solve with the public’s help.

The cases are part of a larger initiative by Interpol to raise awareness and gather information on unidentified deceased women in multiple European countries. The ultimate goal is to provide closure to these cases and bring justice to the victims, as well as find answers for their families. The campaign has seen success in the past, with cases being solved and individuals being identified as a result of public cooperation. The use of celebrities to promote the initiative has also helped in spreading the word and bringing attention to these unsolved cases. Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward and help in identifying these women.
