Following the application made by the police units, it was determined that the sirens installed on the vehicles in the footage were later added illegally. The sirens were removed from the vehicles, the owners were fined administratively, and criminal proceedings were initiated for deliberately endangering traffic safety. During the investigation launched by the Istanbul Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch Civil Traffic Teams, it was determined that the drivers were identified as F.T. and S.T. The two drivers were taken into custody by the police officers. In the interrogation, it was understood that the vehicles did not have an allocation clause. F.T. and S.T. were fined a total of 25,756 Turkish Liras for violating the provisions of the Highways Traffic Law on unauthorized use of sirens/lights, in addition to the vehicle owner being fined the same amount according to the same article. The sirens on the vehicles were removed, and the drivers were subjected to criminal proceedings in accordance with the article of the Turkish Penal Code on deliberately endangering traffic safety.
