Police teams from the district security directorates, as well as the Public Order, Security Teams, Preventive Services, Narcotics Crimes, Special Operations, and Traffic Inspection branch directorates, participated in inspections carried out in many districts including Kadıköy, Fatih, and Beyoğlu.
The sea police, affiliated with the Marine Port Branch Directorate, also set out to sea from Balat by boat to participate in the operation. At the checkpoints, vehicles were thoroughly searched, and the identities of drivers and passengers were checked using the General Information Technology System (GBT).
A narcotics dog also participated in the operation, with support from a police helicopter. The purpose of these inspections is to enhance security measures and crack down on criminal activities in various districts of the city.
