The “Güçlükonak Nature, Culture and Water Sports Festival”, organized by the Governorship and the Güçlükonak District Governorship, began yesterday and on its second day, a paragliding event took place. The event was held at the 25th kilometer of the Şırnak-Güçlükonak highway, where a paraglider, identified as R.U.A, took off from the area but unfortunately crashed after some time, resulting in injuries.
As a result of the accident, the paraglider sustained injuries and was promptly taken to the Şırnak Cizre Dr. Selahattin Cizrelioğlu State Hospital for medical treatment.
