P. Diddy’s sons recently hired a lawyer after being detained during a raid on their father’s homes. The raid was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security on Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes, where Christian and Justin Combs were detained. Despite the raid, Diddy clarified that neither he nor his sons have been arrested. Following what was described as a “gross overuse of military-level force,” one of Diddy’s sons enlisted Jeffrey Lichtman as his attorney. Lichtman, known for representing major mobsters like El Chapo and John Gotti Jr., confirmed this news on Instagram while promoting his podcast, Beyond the Legal Limit With Jeffrey Lichtman.

Lichtman has a strong background in the legal world, having represented high-profile clients like El Chapo and John Gotti Jr. In El Chapo’s case, he secured a guilty verdict on 10 counts in February 2019, while getting three murder conspiracy charges dismissed for Gotti and an acquittal on a $25 million securities fraud charge. He has also represented Hollywood figures such as rappers The Game, Kay Flock, and Fat Joe, as well as journalist Vince DeMentri, securing an acquittal for the latter. Diddy’s ex-partner and the mother of his detained sons, Misa Hylton, criticized the law enforcement for their actions during the raid, claiming that they used “over zealous and overtly militarized force” against their sons.

While the raid on Diddy’s homes was reportedly linked to a human trafficking investigation, officials did not provide further details to the press. Diddy has faced unrelated civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault in the past, all of which he has vehemently denied. Lichtman, Diddy’s newly hired attorney, released a statement to The Mirror defending Diddy against the allegations and criticizing the authorities for the use of excessive force during the raid. He stated that Diddy was never detained but cooperated with the authorities, emphasizing that no criminal or civil liability has been established from the accusations made in the civil lawsuits against Diddy.

The attorney also expressed concern about the raid being perceived as a “witch hunt” and prematurely judging Diddy based on these unproven allegations. Despite the media speculation, neither Diddy nor any of his family members have been arrested, and their travel has not been restricted. Lichtman reiterated Diddy’s innocence and vowed to fight every day to clear his name. The raid on Diddy’s homes and the subsequent legal actions have raised questions about the motives behind the operation and the treatment of the individuals involved. The controversy surrounding the raid and its aftermath continues to unfold as Diddy’s legal team prepares to defend against the accusations made against him.
