According to a statement from the Provincial Security Directorate, the Counter-Terrorism and Intelligence units conducted an operation to uncover the financial activities of the terrorist organization ISIS based on reports from MASAK.
As part of this operation, 3 suspects were captured in the Mediterranean and Tarsus districts. A total of 71,535 dollars, 9,165 euros, and 47,500 Turkish liras were confiscated, along with numerous documents and digital materials at the identified addresses.
The 3 suspects were taken into custody and brought to the police station for further investigation.
The authorities are continuing their efforts to crack down on the financial activities of terrorist organizations, with a particular focus on ISIS in this case.
