Food & Wine announced its 2024 Global Tastemakers awards, revealing the top airports for food and drinks as selected by a panel of more than 180 food and travel journalists. Only three of the top 10 airports are in the US, with John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City coming in seventh. The panelists praised the airport for its massive food selection and iconic New York tastes available at places like The Palm Bar & Grille in Terminal 4.

Despite the strong showing from US airports, the top spot went to Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore, with its world-renowned indoor waterfall and over 100 food vendors offering a wide variety of options.

The airport in Singapore boasts unique offerings like Japanese pork bone broth that has been simmering for over 10 hours and award-winning chili crab. The top 11 airports for food and drinks, according to the 2024 Global Tastemakers awards, include Tokyo-Narita International Airport, Dubai International Airport, Heathrow Airport, Istanbul Airport, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, Vancouver International Airport, and Munich Airport.
