A Manhattan plastic surgeon named Ammar Mahmoud has been accused of turning a model into a “sex slave” in a lawsuit, as well as abusing his ex-wife by forcibly injecting her with hormones and subjecting her to physical and emotional abuse. The ex-wife, a native of Syria, filed a civil lawsuit against Mahmoud in 2014 after their arranged marriage, with disturbing court documents detailing instances of violence and forced injections. This legal battle has been ongoing for nearly 10 years, with many of the ex-wife’s initial claims dismissed due to a statute of limitations, but other alarming allegations remaining intact.

The lawsuit against Mahmoud’s ex-wife includes accusations of beatings, forced injections, and character assassination, with his mother allegedly involved in the abuse as well. The ex-wife was reportedly left financially dependent on Mahmoud and his family after moving to the US from Syria, where she endured abuse that included being locked out of the house in the cold, forced injections, and invasive gynecological exams. Mahmoud’s ex-wife accuses him and his mother of taking advantage of her vulnerable position and subjecting her to verbal and physical abuse from the beginning of their marriage.

The lawsuit also details instances of Mahmoud’s alleged violence, including an incident in which he reportedly stepped on his wife’s neck, threw her on the floor, hit her in the face, and smothered her with a pillow. As their marriage deteriorated, Mahmoud’s mother began spreading false rumors in Syria that her daughter-in-law was a hermaphrodite, causing further emotional distress. Mahmoud and his mother have disputed these claims, filing a defamation suit against the ex-wife, which remains ongoing along with her original lawsuit against Mahmoud.

Another woman, model Maya Willow Sias, has filed her own lawsuit against Mahmoud, alleging sexual and physical abuse, including drugging and imprisoning her in his home. Sias claims that Mahmoud also injected fillers into her face without anesthesia to cover up injuries he inflicted. These additional accusations could potentially be used as evidence of a pattern of abusive behavior by Mahmoud in the ongoing legal battle with his ex-wife. Mahmoud has denied these new accusations, but they may play a role in the resolution of both lawsuits filed against him.

Mahmoud, who operates a medical spa in Manhattan, has faced serious allegations of abuse and mistreatment from both his ex-wife and a former girlfriend. While he has denied the accusations, his ex-wife’s attorney believes that these repeated claims of abuse suggest a larger pattern of behavior. With these lawsuits still ongoing, Mahmoud and his attorney have not responded to requests for comment, leaving the legal battle to continue in court. The disturbing allegations of abuse, forced injections, and character assassination in this case shed light on the darker side of the cosmetic surgery industry and the potential for exploitation and mistreatment of vulnerable individuals.
