Netflix, a popular streaming service known for its selection of movies and TV shows, is expanding its offerings to include a collection of mobile games that subscribers can play on their iOS or Android devices at no additional cost. In May, Netflix will be adding five games to its library, including the anniversary edition of the award-winning title “Braid.” This game, originally released 15 years ago, explores memories, regrets, and relationships through 40 levels, one of which is exclusive to Netflix. The Anniversary Edition features remastered visuals, new levels, and developer commentary from creator Jonathan Blow.

Another title being added to the Netflix Games library is “Sonic Mania Plus,” a classic Sonic the Hedgehog game featuring pixel graphics and beloved Sonic zones from past titles, as well as new levels and characters to enjoy. “Paper Trail” is a cozy top-down puzzle game where players explore the world by folding it like paper to solve puzzles and uncover secrets. “Katana Zero” is a neon-drenched action platformer where players control an assassin with amnesia who can manipulate time to uncover the truth about their past.

One of the upcoming additions to the Netflix Games library is “Netflix Stories: Virgin River,” based on the popular Netflix series of the same name. In this game, players can interact with characters from the show, visit familiar locations, and immerse themselves in the romance and serenity of the series. To access these games, subscribers can download the Netflix app on their mobile devices, sign in to their account, and navigate to the Mobile Games carousel on the homepage to browse and download the available titles.

By tapping into a game in the Netflix app, users can learn more about it and choose to download it directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play store. Once downloaded, the game can be played without any ads or in-app purchases, offering a seamless gaming experience for Netflix subscribers. In addition to the newly added games, subscribers can also explore other titles available in the Netflix Games library, such as “Hades” and the Grand Theft Auto series, as well as check out offerings from other gaming services like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Apple Arcade, and Crunchyroll Game Vault. This expansion of Netflix’s offerings highlights the platform’s commitment to providing a diverse and engaging entertainment experience for its subscribers.
