Nick Cannon shared an update on his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, following the tragic deaths of her mother and sister last month. Cannon mentioned that they are doing their best to support each other as a family during this difficult time. Mariah has been spending time with their children and relying on them for support.

Mariah Carey’s mother, Patricia, and sister, Alison, passed away on the same day last month. Despite not sharing details about their causes of death, Carey expressed her heartbreak in a statement. She stated that she was grateful for the time she spent with her mother before she passed, and she appreciated the love and support from those around her.

Cannon and Carey share 13-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, who he mentioned are the most important thing in the world to Carey. He also talked about his other children from different relationships and the challenges of raising teenagers, including his daughter wearing makeup. Cannon noted the similarities between Monroe and her mother, calling it beautiful but also scary.

Aside from parenting, Cannon has been preparing for Season 12 of “The Masked Singer,” which he said will be the most competitive season yet. The show will introduce “Masked Ambassadors,” former contestants who will provide more clues as to who is under each mask. The season will feature all-new themed episodes and exciting appearances from celebrities like Jewel, Dick Van Dyke, Ne-Yo, and DeMarcus Ware.

Cannon mentioned that the clues in this season will be more prominent and in your face, making it easier for viewers to guess who is behind the masks. The new season will include episodes like “Barbie Night,” “Footloose Night,” “Sports Night,” “Soundtrack of My Life,” and “Miley Cyrus Night.” Cannon also teased the possibility of Miley Cyrus making an in-person appearance on the show.

Season 12 of “The Masked Singer” premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on Fox. Cannon encouraged fans to check it out for a season full of exciting performances, crazy costumes, and celebrity appearances. Despite the challenges he and Carey have faced, Cannon remains committed to supporting her and being there for their children during this difficult time.
