Minister Adolfo Urso emphasized that from fashion to design, from food to art, Made in Italy represents the best of Italian craftsmanship, stemming from a millennia-old tradition and a constant search for innovation. This precious heritage makes Italians proud of their country and significantly contributes to the economy.

Acknowledging the importance of Made in Italy, Minister Adolfo Urso underlined the need to further promote the excellence of Italian products through a series of events held in every region to showcase their particular characteristics and uniqueness. Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty Francesco Lollobrigida opened the National Day of Made in Italy at Casa Coldiretti in Vinitaly alongside President Ettore Prandini and Secretary General Vincenzo Gesmundo. Paolo Mascarino, President of Federalimentare, highlighted the strength and growth of the food industry, which is the leading sector for exports directly targeting international consumers with unique, inimitable Italian brands and products. In 2023, food exports reached a record value of 52 billion euros, demonstrating the food industry’s significant contribution to the image of Italy worldwide.
