As Dungeons & Dragons celebrates its 50th anniversary, Wizards of the Coast is releasing a series of books and products to help fans commemorate this milestone. Wizkids, a company that supports D&D with official miniatures products, board games, and miniatures games, has lined up a collection of miniatures that pay homage to the past while catering to present-day players. One of the miniatures in the lineup is the D&D Icons Of The Realms: Classic Red Dragon, which is a classic symbol of D&D and an iconic enemy in many epic adventures. This miniatures set features a version of the red dragon as it appeared on the cover of the 1977 Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set, making it a perfect nostalgic desk decoration for long-time fans of the game.

In addition to the Classic Red Dragon miniature, Wizkids has also released the D&D Icons Of The Realms: 50th Anniversary set, which includes versions of monsters based on their First Edition and Fifth Edition appearances. This set allows Dungeon Masters to customize their encounters with the desired look for their monsters and includes unique sculpts for leader figures in larger encounters. The blind booster boxes contain four miniatures each, with one Large and three Medium or Small creatures, as well as 10 super rare chase miniatures for collectors.

Another notable release from Wizkids is the D&D Icons: Tomb Of Annihilation Complete Set, which combines classic D&D adventure elements with new Fifth Edition content. Inspired by the killer module Tomb of Horrors, this set drops players into the sweltering jungles of Chult as they navigate dangerous territory to save a friend and explore an uncharted continent. The set includes 66 creature miniatures and 14 terrain features, making it a great selection for both players who have never experienced this campaign and those looking for a new challenge.

All of these products are currently available for pre-order on the Wizkids website for direct ordering or through local game stores. The miniatures celebrate the legacy of Dungeons & Dragons while also bringing new life to classic monsters and settings for players of all levels of experience. As D&D fans around the world join in the celebration of the game’s 50th anniversary, these products offer a tangible way to commemorate the game’s enduring legacy and immerse themselves in new adventures and challenges in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
