Madonna, at 65 years old, showed off her dedication to her craft during rehearsals in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, ahead of her upcoming shows in Copacabana. Despite wearing a knee brace due to previous surgeries, Madonna did not let her injury hinder her performance. She previously underwent regenerative treatment following knee surgery in April 2020 and hip surgery in November 2020. During rehearsals, Madonna wore gimp masks on stage and put on a raunchy display while practicing her performance.

During rehearsals in Rio de Janeiro, Madonna covered her face with bondage hoods, including a latex lime green version and a black option. The singer, known for her iconic performances, switched between different outfits, such as a pair of shorts with a sheer T-shirt and lace opera gloves, as well as a figure-hugging velvet catsuit with huge shoulder pads. Madonna was joined by Brazilian artist Pabllo Vittar for a sound check and practiced her moves, including twerking and stomping around on stage in silver boots.

Madonna’s presence in Brazil ahead of her free concert at Copacabana Beach was highly anticipated. She kicked off the Celebration Tour in October 2020 and has since traveled to various European and US locations. The oceanfront concert in Rio de Janeiro is set to be a culmination of over four decades of Madonna’s music career, as a thank you to her fans. The event, broadcast live on TV Globo, will have entrance on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel.

Madonna’s upcoming concert is expected to draw large crowds and follows the tradition of other prominent artists performing at Copacabana Beach, such as Rod Stewart, the Rolling Stones, and Lenny Kravitz. Madonna, who is a mother of six, including daughter Lourdes and son Rocco, continues to showcase her impressive frame and dedication to her craft through her rehearsals and performances. Her daughter Estere even participated in rehearsals as she is set to perform as a DJ during Madonna’s show.
