Throughout the movie, the two actors spent a lot of time together in a car, giving Hemsworth ample opportunity to ask Freeman questions about his career and experiences working with other actors and directors.

During their time together on set, Hemsworth admitted that he couldn’t help but be a fanboy of Freeman and peppered him with questions about his work. He expressed his admiration for Freeman’s long and successful career and even inquired about his favorite director, to which Freeman jokingly replied that it was Clint Eastwood because he doesn’t ask as many questions. In the film, Hemsworth’s character is on a mission to save his sons from a dangerous drug cartel, showcasing his dedication to family both on and off-screen. While he and his wife Samantha have three daughters, Hemsworth explained that he takes a more laid-back approach to parenting, allowing his children some freedom to explore and learn on their own. He shared that his eldest daughter recently turned 16, and watching her navigate adolescence has been both terrifying and joyful for him.

Despite his successful acting career, Hemsworth maintains a humble and down-to-earth attitude, particularly when discussing his relationship with his famous brothers, Chris and Liam. He revealed that when the three brothers get together, they are all “d–kheads,” highlighting their playful and relaxed dynamic.
