Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have opened their sandwich shop, Something About Her, in West Hollywood. Lisa Vanderpump, their former boss, stated that she will wait a couple of weeks before visiting the eatery to allow time for any initial issues to be resolved. The restaurant features a variety of dishes, including gourmet peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and grilled cheeses, as well as options named after stars of Nancy Meyers films. The opening of Something About Her was delayed due to permit issues and there was tension between the business partners during the process.

During the creation of Something About Her, Lala Kent revealed at the “Vanderpump Rules” Season 11 reunion that Katie Maloney felt abandoned to handle business matters alone while Ariana Madix was performing in “Chicago” on Broadway in New York. Vanderpump advised that in business, conflicts must be resolved or the parties should walk away to prioritize the success of the business. She also emphasized the importance of setting aside personal disagreements in order to focus on the restaurant’s success. Despite the revealed tensions, Vanderpump is hopeful that the friendship between Madix and Maloney will withstand the challenges of mixing friendship with business.

Lisa Vanderpump, who has opened several restaurants including the famous SUR in Los Angeles, highlighted the importance of separating personal and business relationships when they intersect. While she has rarely had partners in the hospitality industry, Vanderpump is excited to mentor aspiring restaurateurs on “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars.” She mentioned the importance of concentrating on the success of the restaurant above personal disagreements, a principle she believes Madix and Maloney must follow.

Vanderpump reflected on her experiences in business and noted that she has always prioritized the success of the restaurant and put differences aside when working with partners. She shared her enjoyment in working with Gordon Ramsay on “Food Stars” to discover new talent and raise their game to the best it can be. While she appreciates Ramsay’s aesthetic preferences, Vanderpump joked that going into business with him on a full-time basis may not be feasible due to their differing styles. She expressed mutual respect for Ramsay but emphasized that their working relationship might have limitations.

As Season 2 of “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” premieres on Fox, Lisa Vanderpump discussed the challenges and rewards of working with aspiring chefs and restaurateurs on the reality competition series. While Vanderpump and Gordon Ramsay had fun filming the show together, she joked about the idea of them creating a menu together due to their differing styles and strong personalities. Despite the challenges of working closely with Ramsay, Vanderpump acknowledged their mutual respect for each other’s talents and expressed excitement about finding and mentoring new culinary talent on the show.
