To showcase his new collection, he curated an art exhibit in Paris’s Marais district called “A Friend Named Cousin,” featuring works by Teoni Hinds, Jewel Ham, Jahlil Nzinga, and Goldie Williams, as well as a textile work by Robinson himself.

He recalled a time in the early 2000s when baby blue was a popular color in his community. Despite receiving criticism for his color choices, Robinson stuck to his vision, emphasizing the importance of baby blue to his cultural background. He also expressed his love for the vibrant and seductive nature of the color red, drawing inspiration from red lipstick and fast cars.
