In a recent interview on the Kelly Corrigan Wonders podcast, actress Jennifer Garner, 52, revealed that she had no trouble getting pregnant with her three children. Garner, who is the mother to Violet, 18, Fin (formerly Seraphina), 15, and Sam, 12, shared that all of her pregnancies were intentional and she was able to conceive after trying for only four or five months. She expressed gratitude for her easy pregnancies, saying that she felt lucky to have had great experiences carrying her children.

Garner’s comments on her pregnancies were made as part of a special series called About Your Mother, co-hosted by Christy Turlington, 55. The series is benefiting Turlington’s organization, Every Mother Counts, which works to ensure quality and equitable maternity care around the world. Other guests on the show included Bono, Amy Schumer, and Cindy Crawford, with the goal of raising $100,000 for the charity by Mother’s Day, May 12, which will be matched dollar for dollar in donations.

The actress also reflected on Mother’s Day and shared a heartwarming tradition she has with her kids. Garner revealed that she has a photo of her children sitting on her lap taken every Mother’s Day, a tradition she has continued even as they have grown older. She recounted a special memory of when her kids were little, all sitting on her lap for a picture, and expressed that this simple request is all she wants from her children on Mother’s Day.

While discussing motherhood and her pregnancies, Garner made light-hearted comments about her fertility, jokingly saying that she could have another child in a field right now and claiming that she was “born to breed” with her “big hips.” Despite being warned about sharing such comments publicly, Garner seemed unbothered and continued to make playful remarks about her fertility and mothering abilities.

One aspect of Garner’s personal life that has recently made headlines is the transition of her middle child, Fin (formerly Seraphina). The 15-year-old publicly introduced their new identity as Fin Affleck at Garner’s father’s funeral in April, but neither Garner nor her ex-husband Ben Affleck, 51, have commented publicly on the matter. The family’s focus seems to be on accepting and supporting Fin during this time of transition and honoring their identity.
