Knicks star Jalen Brunson was unexpectedly seen at Eagles practice, accompanied by Philadelphia’s head of security “Big Dom.” Also in attendance was Villanova alumni and St. Joseph’s point guard Lynn Greer III. The trio was seen interacting with the Eagles executives during the team’s minicamp. Brunson, wearing a Wawa hat, was seen walking across the practice field with Greer and Dom DiSandro, known for his scuffle with the 49ers’ player Dre Greenlaw in the past NFL season.

During Eagles minicamp, NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Dave Zangaro captured images of Brunson, Greer, and DiSandro walking along the sideline. Another photo showed the duo chatting with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni, who recently made headlines with comments about Giants fans following the acquisition of Saquon Barkley by the Eagles. General manager Howie Roseman was also seen greeting Brunson and Greer during their visit to the Eagles’ practice.

Jalen Brunson has ties to Philadelphia not only through his Villanova connection but also due to the Knicks’ intense series against the 76ers in the recent postseason. Brunson played a crucial role in the series victory over the Sixers, averaging 35.5 points per game. Despite facing injuries, the Knicks were able to defeat the Sixers, with Brunson scoring at least 40 points in three consecutive games, including a 47-point game.

In the Eastern Conference second round, the Knicks were eventually eliminated by the Pacers in seven games. Despite facing injuries, Brunson was adamant that the team should not use injuries as an excuse for their performance. He emphasized that they had opportunities to win the series and missed out on key moments. Brunson expressed his disappointment in the narrative that injuries gave them a pass, stating that they had chances to take the lead in the series but failed to capitalize on them.
