Located on the corner of Spring and Wooster, the 2,900 square-foot two-story boutique was designed by OMA and features significant furniture by renowned designers. Exclusive merch, including a hoodie, tee-shirt, baseball cap, and mug, is only available in the Soho store or online. This new boutique is sure to attract fashion-forward shoppers in the city.

Maria Pergay, an under-the-radar furniture designer, is being celebrated in a new exhibit at Demisch Danant gallery. Titled “Precious Strength | Maria Pergay Across the Decades,” the exhibit features 35 of her works before and after she was rediscovered by Suzanne Demisch and Stephane Danant. Pergay’s innovative use of stainless steel and timeless designs are showcased in this homage to her legacy. The exhibition runs through November 30 and showcases the unique talent of this influential designer.

“Barbie®: A Cultural Icon” is a popular exhibit celebrating the 65th anniversary of the iconic doll. After attracting record crowds in Phoenix and Las Vegas, the exhibit has opened in NYC, featuring over 250 vintage dolls, original outfits, ads, and interviews with designers. The showcase includes a life-size Barbie Mirror-Pink Corvette, perfect for Instagram moments. The exhibit explores Barbie’s role in reflecting social advancements over the last six decades and runs through March 2025 at the Museum of Arts and Design.

Bar Sprezzatura, a new establishment from San Francisco, has opened on West 48th Street, aiming to bring Amalfi coast vibes to the city. The interior is designed with pastel shades, plants, and natural light to create a welcoming ambiance. The cocktail menu includes spritzes and negronis, making it an ideal spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Bar Sprezzatura provides a taste of Italy in the heart of the theatre district in NYC.

Marlo Laz, a fine jewelry brand by Jesse Lazowski, celebrated its tenth anniversary by opening a new store on Madison Avenue. The flagship location near 72nd Street reflects Jesse’s global interests and travels, showcasing gold charms, medallions, and chains alongside scarves, candles, and ceramics from around the world. The interior, designed with her mother Marcia Lazowski, features artworks by prominent artists, creating a unique shopping experience for UES clients.
