A disturbing Iranian-made video from 2022 depicting an assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump has resurfaced, indicating Tehran’s ongoing plots to take his life. The video, posted on Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei’s website, showcases an animated scenario where Iranian operators attack Trump while he plays golf at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. This is believed to be Iran’s retaliation for the US-directed assassination of Gen. Qassem Soleimani in 2020, showing the escalating tensions between the two countries.

The animation begins with a depiction of Trump playing golf at Mar-a-Lago, with Iranian operators using a remote-controlled weapon that targets Trump and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. This weapon is shown to include cameras and targeting lasers, aiming at Trump and Pompeo like in the movie “Minority Report.” The video further shows an Iranian special operator sending a text message stating that those responsible for Soleimani’s death will pay the price, before launching an attack on Trump and Pompeo using a drone or bomber.

The video concludes with the words “Revenge is Definite,” reflecting Iran’s determination to seek vengeance against those it holds accountable for Soleimani’s death. It is revealed that the animation won an animation contest held by the Ayatollah on the topic of revenge against Trump, Pompeo, and those involved in Soleimani’s assassination. Trump’s campaign recently disclosed that he was briefed on specific threats from Iran to assassinate him, heightening concerns about ongoing plots to target him.

Following the resurfacing of the video, parallels were drawn to recent attempts on Trump’s life, including an incident where a Secret Service found a would-be assassin near Trump’s golf course in Florida. Both incidents, along with others involving attacks on Trump, raised questions about potential Iranian involvement and motives. In one instance, a Pakistani national was arrested for allegedly paying contract killers to target Trump or other US politicians on behalf of Tehran, further fueling concerns about external threats to Trump’s safety.

The case of Ryan Routh, a man who attempted to assassinate Trump at a golf course, echoed previous incidents involving attacks against the former president. Investigations into the motives behind these attacks have been ongoing, with speculation about potential Iranian influence on these incidents. As concerns about threats to Trump’s life persist, there is a growing need for increased security measures and vigilance to prevent further attempts on his life. The resurfacing of the video has reignited debates about the complex relationships between nations and the potential consequences of escalating tensions between the US and Iran.
