The provincial gendarmerie units initiated an operation in the district after receiving information that gold would be illegally transported from the district in a pick-up truck.
As a result of the operation, a pick-up truck was identified and driver N.C and passenger G.C were found to be carrying six gold bullions weighing one kilogram each, with a market value of 17 million 600 thousand lira.
Legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects.
